Emhart Glass SA, world market leader for highly developed technologies for the manufacture and testing of glass containers, wanted a comprehensive and non time restricted availability of company documents and an optimisation of internal communication. All business processes surrounding the accounting sequences should correspond to modern standards and be digitalised. A further wish was to accelerate the interaction between the headquarters in Switzerland and the branches all over the world and make it smoother and more comprehensible.
Next® was seamlessly integrated into the ERP BPCS. The receipts produced by BPCS, such as outgoing invoices, order confirmations or orders, are transferred directly to the archive. Incoming invoices and other accounting documents will be scanned at 13 sites worldwide and transferred directly to Next®.
High performance workflows organise the digital processing of the incoming invoices. The invoices to be checked are automatically sent to the inboxes of the relevant employees by the various sites. The competences of the employees and test regulations are bindingly saved and documented in the system. All work steps are protocolled and permanently managed in Next®.
Special features are various programme modification workflows. These collect ideas worldwide for the optimisation of the merchandise management and test the changes that have been decided upon. After a successfully completed test phase, they inform the employees about the Go-Live.
Via further workflows, calculations and offers are agreed. A service order workflow regulates the whole acquisition management like purchasing services or repairs.
Short paths, quick processing times, complete transparency and low loss communication - the workflow systems of Nextway reliably ensure all of this at Emhart Glass.
A perfectly conceived workflow management guarantees an extremely fast Return on Investment especially for internationally active companies such as Emhart Glass SA.
