The logistics service provider TFG Transfracht has an enormous number of transport orders to manage nationally every day. In addition, large quantities of freight papers, shipping declarations and invoices are incurred. This flood of documents was to be transferred into a uniform system and made digitally accessible.
Furthermore, the company had to keep up with the modern demands of the customers, who consistently want to follow the current status of their orders regardless of place and time. The high quality standard for their own business field, also determined the search for a suitable partner. Therefore Transfracht decided on Next® in 2008 (old name: MultiArchive). The solution corresponded to all the requirements at the time and later, and the enormous knowledge of Nextway in the area of process management was impressive.
Next® was completely integrated into the main system for the management of transport orders.
Twenty recruitment agencies send the transport orders by fax or e-mail to the TFG headquarters, where the documents are processed. All relevant index values of a document are compared with the data in the ERP system, and additional Metadata is automatically accepted. After the structured filing, the transport order can be searched for in the browser.
Via the Next® Webclient you can now check the processing status of the transport order in a flash.
Next® is available to both the TFG employees and the TFG customers as a comfortable web application, which offers immediate access to the managed documents.
“With Next® we have picked an extremely user friendly product, which significantly contributes to the customer and employee satisfaction. The fully automatic handling of transport orders and comfortable searching are now integral to our company. The use of Next® and the optimisation of the document process makes our work much easier, and creates additional space for effective handling of our services!“
