12/7/2020 In the IT industry, 25 years anniversaries are rare.
When we on 11 December celebrate that Henrik Fjorback has been part of the development team at Nextway for the past 25 years, we’d like to invite all colleagues from Switzerland, Austria, Germany, England, Sweden, Norway, Finland, and Denmark. Together with customers and partners from all over Europe, Africa, Asia, and the USA. To a huge and festive reception in Herning. Of course we would.
But we can't. Not in these COVID-19 times. Not at all.
Instead, we’ll have to settle for an online gathering in Teams™ at 8:00 CET. A little early for champagne, but it has to fit in with all time zones. With blessings from the Danish COVID-19 hotline, the team in Herning will have lunch together — with distance and sanitizer — once everyone else have left the canteen.
At the end of the working day, the local management of Nextway in Denmark — with face masks and everything — will pay a visit to the Fjorback home. To duly thank — not only Henrik, but also Henrik's wife, Kristina and his three boys, Magnus, Malthe, and Mads, who all have been part of the large Nextway family for many years.
Much has changed in those 25 years. The company has changed its name. Henrik has become a Master in IT. And the job has evolved significantly. But one thing hasn't changed. The enthusiasm and dedication with which Henrik throws himself into any task is the same. It is with very good reason that Henrik is cherished by customers, partners, and collagues wherever you find Nextway.
Congratulations and thank you.
