New Head of Accounts has his first day at the office — or not.
5/1/2020 With COVID-19 around and everyone working from home, we will onboard our new International Head of Accounts virtually. A big virtual welcome to Peter Nørbjerg!
Today is Peter Nørbjerg's (50) first day at Nextway. Most likely a first day that is different from any other first day throughout his 25-year career as finance manager. Instead of dressing up and go to the Nextway headquarters in Herning to be confronted with the rest of the team, he’ll stay at home in Ikast (Denmark) and meetup virtually.
But he won’t have a quiet day for that reason. As always, a comprehensive start-up plan has been prepared. And he’ll get the chance to meet everyone online — webcam to webcam. If not in one-on-one meetings, then at the weekly online bake-a-cake session, or the virtual Friday Bar, where everyone will be eager to get a good look at new guy.
Once we are allowed to meet up again in real life, we all look forward to engaging with Peter also in our sports activities. Like many of us, he enjoys a good run or a mountain bike ride.
Peter, we are very pleased to have you as part of our team, and we look forward to seeing you online until we can finally meet up at the office.
