12/8/2021 In a year when companies in many European industries were challenged by COVID-19, Nextway has succeeded in delivering on its strategy and generated a solid financial result. More industry focus, more subscription, and more cloud generated sales growth of 167% in ARR (Annual Recurring Revenue) and 206% in the insurance industry. EBITDA is up by 428% to €1,428K from an unsatisfactory last year.

Subscription, Cloud, and SaaS in focus
Nextway’s strategic focus on subscription, cloud, and software as a service (SaaS) is a success in the Nordics. And now it also starts to gain traction in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland). This is a natural consequence of not all industries and geographies being first movers when it comes to the adaption of subscription, cloud, and SaaS. Still, Nextway has it in the strategy to change that.
“This year, our ARR (Annual Recurring Revenue) from new deals rose by 167%. And next year, the growth will be higher” – adds the CEO.
Industry focus

The outlook
COVID-19 has brought a lot of uncertainty to most companies. Also, to companies like Nextway and Nextway’s customers. At the same time, the pandemic has also accelerated the digitalization that was already set in motion. Working on and off from home has highlighted the value of having a full digital workplace. In almost all industries this has become an unquestionable requirement.
